ITALIAN SOUVENIR
Wednesday, September 12 . 7PM

Celebrate the joy and color of Italy with our opening concert.  Music for oboe and string quartet by the Italian master Boccherini, a work by our Italian composer-in-residence Nathan Lincoln-Decusatis, and Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir de Florence will make the evening a Bella Notte!

CLASSICAL CAFÉ
Friday, September 14 . 7PM

The gatehouse at Antelope Trails Ranch will be transformed into a casual café.  Enjoy wine and accoutrements as we present music from a wide variety of genres including selections from Finzi’s By Footpath and Stile sung by Baritone Erik van Heyningen.  There will be something for everyone, and a few surprises!

A WORLD PREMIERE AND MENDELSSOHN'S OCTET
Sunday, September 16 . 3PM

Our closing concert combines the familiar and the new with Jackson’s majestic mountain backdrop.  A world premiere by composer-in-residence Nathan Lincoln de Cusatis, written especially for our musicians, will be an exciting first for Jackson Hole Chamber Music!  Our second season concludes with Mozart’s oboe quartet, Barber’s gorgeous Dover Beach, and Mendelssohn’s thrilling Octet for strings as the grand finale.

MELODIC LANDSCAPES

In the opening concert of our series, we will explore the interaction between the aural and visual realm in a chamber music program inspired by works of visual art. Artist-in-Residence Todd Kosharek will discuss how music influences his painting, and some of his pieces—including the painting commissioned by JHCM for its inaugural season—will be on display.

MUSIC WITH A TWIST

Come join us for a musical happy hour! The second concert will feature an array of shorter chamber music selections paired with local spirits and hors d’oeuvres. Audience members will have a chance to mingle with the musicians at the Cowboy Bar at Antelope Trails Ranch.

NATURE IN HARMONY
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 16 • 3PM

Experience one more time the beauty of the Grand Tetons while listening to our world class chamber ensemble perform Aaron Copland’s “Appalachian Spring” at the Antelope Trails Ranch Gatehouse. The grand finale of the Jackson Hole Chamber Music concert series will immerse our audience in the exciting and familiar sounds of Copland and others amidst the unparalleled physical surroundings of Jackson, Wyoming and its majestic mountain backdrop.
